Family portal
Handing a parent's care to someone else should never mean losing sight of it. Every family member gets their own private link to the Angels Instead family portal, so a daughter in Dallas and a son in Houston see the same day unfold.
Photos are shared only with the client's written consent, and every family member sees only their own loved one.

Angels Instead bills by the hour, with a 4-hour minimum per shift and no long-term commitment. The rate depends on the level of care and the schedule, and the quoted rate is the rate you pay. You can see your exact hourly rate in about a minute with our online quote.
Usually within 24 hours of your call. When it is urgent, the home safety assessment, the care plan and the caregiver introduction all happen the same day.
Experienced caregivers who have passed rigorous compliance checks, including criminal background and reference checks, and who are supervised by a care coordinator. We match personalities carefully and send the same caregiver whenever possible.
Tell your care coordinator and we change the match. The written care plan stays with the home, so a new caregiver picks up where the last one left off.

Yes. Angels Instead Group LLC is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission as a Home Health Agency and is fully bonded and insured. Our main business is non-medical home care, and skilled nursing is available when the plan of care calls for it.
Yes. Every family member gets a private link to the family portal with the schedule, visit check-ins and notes, the care plan, photos (with consent from the client), invoices and a chat with the care team.

My experience with Angels Instead was awesome! They took care of my Grandma who has dementia. They sent us a consistent caregiver, Julie, who was fantastic. She always made it on time and she treated my grandma with compassion and respect. She accompanied her to Dr. appointments and played with her piano. She also did daily exercises with her and always kept the house tidy and clean! The agency follows up with us daily after each shift and makes sure all went well. I recommend them to every family who is looking for home care! By the way, they had a family portal that kept all our family up to date on everything my Grandma is doing! The caregiver they sent for my mother in law was on time and professional. They send the same caregiver every time, which we lacked with previous agencies we used. We have been using Angels Instead Homecare for almost 3 months and then my in-law got moved to a nursing home in the Houston area where they are still offering extra care. Their pricing is affordable and there are no hidden expenses on their invoices. They even took our call at 5am when my mother-in-law needed the caregiver earlier that day. They are a blessing.

Hiring Angels Instead was one of the best decisions we have ever made! My aging parents, and Mom with Alzheimer's, required caregivers to manage cooking, chores and everyday personal life. The Angels Instead owner, Tamara, met with us personally and then assigned a single, perfect caregiver only to them, which is crucial when working with patients who have dementia or Alzheimer's. After only a couple of days of training the caregiver to the household routine, she was able to provide 2 weeks worth of total exceptional care for my parents while I was able to take a much needed vacation.
